Barney Ford Museum

Edwin Carter Museum

Tuesday-Sunday
10am-3pm
Edwin Carter was a miner turned taxidermist and naturalist. This museum has hands-on exhibits great for kids.

Breckenridge Welcome Center Museum

Year-Round
Tuesday-Saturday
9am-5pm

High Line Railroad Park

Open year-round during daylight hours (self-guided), weather permitting
This outdoor site includes original narrow-gauge equipment, information about Breckenridge’s railroad history and a railroad and mining themed playground.

Breckenridge Sawmill Museum

Open year-round during daylight hours (self-guided), weather permitting
This interpretive site, featuring original sawmill equipment, highlights the important role sawmills played in frontier towns. Pick up a free self-guided brochure on site.

Washington Mine and Milling Exhibit

closed for the season
typically open June - September
The Washington Mine interpretive site includes a new, one-of-a-kind exhibit featuring the equipment used to process ore from underground mines. Note: this is not an underground mine tour.

Alice G. Milne Memorial Park

Open year-round during daylight hours (self-guided), weather permitting
This lovely park was donated to the Town by Alice Milne and is now an exclusive glimpse into the evolving architecture of Victorian Breckenridge.
